Sophie Bilow

7th Summer

My name is Sophie and this year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I play Tennis and Lacrosse. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I have two siblings but I am the only one still at home.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching Sailing. I like teaching this activity because Sailing is my favorite activity. My favorite camp meal is BBQ and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Jolted Cow. Friday Night Campfire is my favorite Evening Program because you get to rest and spend time with your friends and cabin. I love being a Chippy because the friendships I’ve made and the environment at camp are something I look forward to every year. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I get to do tan and white and see all of my friends and new campers.
