7th Summer

My name is Leah and this will be my 7th summer at Chippewa! I am from Deerfield, IL and I am currently a sophomore at Deerfield High School. Outside of camp, I play field hockey and lacrosse. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I love sushi!

This summer at camp, I will be teaching fishing. I like teaching this activity because I love spending time on the boat and helping kids learn something new that I love to do! My favorite camp meal is grilled cheese and tater tots and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is French Silk Pie. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because I love laughing and having fun on the stage with all my friends! I love being a Chippy because of all the friendships and bonds I have made that will last a lifetime. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I get to have campers for the first time!!!!
