The Sari Diaries- Saturday 7/22/17

Dear Chippies, Parents, Family and Friends,

What a lovely day we have had at CRC. This week has flown by- I can hardly believe that the first week of second session is already over! There was a lot of action today and I am excited to tell you all about it. Here goes…

Lakeview camper, Olivia G, celebrated her birthday today. A highlight for her was definitely at waterskiing where she got up and around the lake for the first time! At fishing, Josh let me know that 53% of second session anglers (what we call Chippy fishers) have caught a fish already…that’s impressive if you ask me! Then over in the sailing/kayaking area, I had a couple of Lakeview campers tell me how amazing their day has been. They were getting ready to rig their sailboats and what they didn’t yet know was that they were about to play the Red Ball Game…the single most popular game to all Chippy sailors!

Before dinner, Smoss came into the office to tell us that she had the best day ever…she loved her schedule, the weather was great and she just had so much fun. I am telling you- the vibes around here are quite positive right now- it is awesome!

Then on my way down to dinner, I was walking with Sadie G who had just come from horseback riding. She told me that she controlled her own horse for the first time and she was really excited about this awesome accomplishment!

Tonight was a Big and Little Sister BBQ followed by Big and Little Sister Night. The CITs did a fantastic job of planning an amazing night for our campers. Everyone had a blast and it was adorable to see all of the pairs running around camp competing their hearts out! In the end, Anna S and Sabrina B were the big winners and got to join the CITs at Cathy’s.

So that’s it…we managed to beat the weather…another beautiful and full day at #TheRanch2017! Thanks for reading tonight- talk to you soon!

Happy Camping and Love,
Sari
